What are Creative Media Authority’s internship cycles and when can I apply?

We have three internship cycles. The Spring cycle runs between January and March, the Summer cycle covers May to July, and the Fall cycle runs between August and October. We encourage interested students to apply at least two months prior to their internship starting date.

What is the process and how long does it take?

After the application closing date, your submission will go through an evaluation that can take up to 3 weeks. If accepted, you will be invited to two interviews; if it’s not accepted, you will be notified by email. If your interviews are successful, you will receive an email within another 3 weeks detailing your internship placement, which will either be at a relevant department or partner company.

What is an academic internship?

An academic internship is one that is required to fulfill a university credit or internship requirement.

Are Creative Media Authority internships paid?

All internships are currently non-paid. However, you will gain invaluable experience and skills to kick start your career.

What is the time commitment that is required of a Creative Media Authority internship?

Most internships require a minimum 36-hour commitment per week for a period of 1-3 months. Creative Media Authority operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The working hours may vary slightly, depending on the department or partner company you will intern at.
